SEBASTIEN COL : “WE REACHED OUR OBJECTIVE FOR THE START OF THE NEW MATCH RACING SEASON »

Sebastien Col : « The objective of these five last days between training and racing was to sail as much as possible with my crew (Christophe André, Philippe Mourniac, Gilles Favennec and Christian Scherrer), and thanks to the good conditions, we did the maximum. We have identified the areas that we need to work on for the next Grade 1 event, which will be held in Marseille in March. Philippe and Christian are two new team mates, and they have a lot of experience. We shared a lot together. This new crew configuration seems very positive for the future.”

Sebastien and his crew will carry on working on the match racing this week, as they will take part to a training session, which will allow them to use what they learnt in Marseille, and particularly the work for the starts.
This training is organized in Valencia, Spain, with SM40 boats, and with a famous sparring partner : Ian Williams (world’s number one).
