A GRAND SUPPORTER FOR AREVA CHALLENGE

Valencia, Spain - 2006-06-27

Wenesday, the AREVA Challenge team accommodates a very grand supporter.  It is French basketball player, Antoine Rigaudeau, (who stands 2m01 tall) who has come to support Thierry Peponnet and his team.

As a resident of Valencia since 2003, it is with great passion that Antoine follows the racing of the 32nd America’s Cup.  Thanks to a complete immersion within the AREVA Challenge team, Antoine Rigaudeau will be in the heart of the action as the 18th man against +39 Challenge (second race of the day).  The ex-Cholet player will take measure of another sporting team…this time on the water.

Antoine Rigaudeau:
5 time French National Basketball Champion
1987 – 1995: Cholet
1995 – 1997: Pau-Orthez
1997 – 2002: Kinder Bologna (Italy, Lega)
